Sheffler, Jr., PE/PLS, is the Principal in Charge of Engineering & Surveying Services while his wife, Cristina Sheffler, serves as company President. Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer position completes construction projects by preparing engineering design plans and documents in accordance with client and company specifications.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering drawings and reports for land development projects
- Assist with or preparing permit applications
- Erosion and sedimentation control reports
- Design sediment traps and basins
- Design stormwater management facilities
- Design non-structural BMP’s for groundwater recharge
- Perform site visits
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional registration (P.E.) is preferred but not required
- E.I.T certification
- 1-5 years related experience/internships
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and stormwater management software is required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer facing personality to effectively work with clients and team members
